Reviving Your Devotional Life

As I hang up a new calendar for 2011, look at a fresh "to do" list, and grab my "One-Year Bible" off the shelf, a feeling of refreshment washes over me.  It's a new year that brings about a fresh start and time to make some new commitments.

I wonder, though, how will I feel in a few weeks when the pressures of life have set in and I've grown tired of reading through Leviticus, yet again!

  • why it's good to be broken over sin
  • the real meaning of Kingdom love
  • inherent dangers of following false teachers
  • the significance of building a house on rock

Of course, there's always opportunity to learn so much more about God ...

Remembering Haiti with Compassion

Compassion Haitian children

Is there anything good happening in Haiti?

Compassion International is ready to help stations answer this question for listeners through a number of new resources available for "Remember Haiti with Compassion" day on January 12.

Wess Stafford has said, "Haiti was home to one of the worst disasters of our time. Then the earthquake hit."  As the anniversary of the devastating earthquake approaches, many will be wondering -- Is it even possible to rebuild a country so ravaged by disaster and poverty?

Plan now to be a part of a special day when Christian broadcasting pauses to share hope and encouragement ...
