October is National Dessert Month

dessertAt Ambassador, we believe sugar and sweets should be celebrated all year long . . . but we were thrilled to discover a whole month has been set aside for our "just desserts."  So what's your favorite dessert?  It's a tough question, and one we posed to our friends in media and ministry in this month's newsletter.

August is National Sandwich Month

sandwichIf you can believe it, August is National Sandwich Month.  What kind what would be at the top of your list?  That's the question we asked our friends in media and ministry.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

When you were a youngster, what did you hope to "be" when you grew up?  That's the question we asked our friends in media and ministry.

Kimberley Barnes of KGLC/KVIS Radio said, "When I was growing up I wanted to be a wife and a mother; no big aspirations of being president or a rocket scientist.  I wanted to raise a family and take care of them like my precious Momma still does today!"

Who is your favorite baseball player?

BaseballApril 5th marks a new season for Major League Baseball and the race to the World Series--a tradition since 1869.  So...we asked friends who live in a baseball town--who is your favorite player (hometown or not) of all-time?

My favorite baseball player of all time is Jack Roosevelt "Jackie" Robinson.  Although born in Georgia, he never played for Atlanta, but brave he was!  Robinson was born on January 31, 1919, into a family of sharecroppers in Cairo, Georgia.  I admire ...
