We had our Sunday School Christmas gathering this past weekend and as I looked around the room of single women - some widowed, some divorced, some never married,  I was reminded how much in our lives seems "missing."

And yet, as our pastor read from Luke and we prayed together, giving thanks for the greatest gift we've ever been given, I was reminded how very much we have . . . in Christ.

The latest installment in the Kaiser Permanente creative ad campaign called "Thrive" is a radio ad called "On the Sideism." 

The premise of the ad is a mantra of moderation - living a healthy life today by ordering your condiments "on the side " - salad dressings on the side, mayonnaise on the side of your turkey sandwich, etc. 

While "sideism" may work for a healthy life, this month marks the 93^rd birthday of a man who has lived out the opposite.  Billy Graham's birthday is next Monday and on that day, the world marks a life in which God has ...
