Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Celebrates 60 Year Milestone

  • Monday, January 11, 2010

He was only 15 years old, the son of a dairy farmer in Charlotte, N.C., when Billy Graham's life was changed eternally as he responded to an invitation at a revival meeting.  It wasn't long thereafter that he realized his calling was to tell the world about Jesus Christ.

Men like George Wilson, Cliff Barrows, George Beverly Shea, T.W. Wilson, Grady Wilson and others would comprise the team that helped Billy Graham launch BGEA in 1950.  They had no idea then that it would one day become one of the largest and most established evangelistic ministries ...

What Are Your Christmas Traditions?

  • Monday, November 30, 2009

This weekend I started to think about some of the Christmas traditions my family shares:

  • Christmas Cards
  • Nativity Display
  • Caroling
  • Reading Luke 2
  • Decorating the Christmas tree

God bless you for your ministry and for the dedication that you gave into it. I pray for your ministry and for your ...

Franklin Graham in China

  • Monday, October 19, 2009

It's the start of a new week and as I work on my to-do-list, I recall the message my pastor shared on Sunday  . . . "Greatness in His Kingdom is defined by your faithfulness to the assignment specifically given to you."

Sometimes our assignments are in our neighborhood - the grocery clerk having a bad day, the homeless person on the corner..   Sometimes, our assignments are clear across the world - in China as the Graham family knows all too well.

Continuing the Graham family legacy of sharing God's Word and love with the Chinese people, Franklin Graham proclaimed the Gospel this ...

Ways to Share the love of Christ

I stopped at the market on my way home from AWANA last night to pick up some milk—I walked out with something much more valuable.

The checker asked me what AWANA stood for—I explained  that AWANA was one of the  outreaches our church provided to share with children (and parents) about God and the Bible.

Next time I go to the market, I’m going to invite the checker to visit my church, but in the meantime, I’m thankful that in those few minutes, God used me to share the ...
