Giving Hope: One Household at a Time

HCJB Global NRB Event

One million.  That's not the square footage of the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville (it's only 600,000!).  One million refers to the number of Arab households that listen weekly to Christian programming provided by HCJB Global.  Those who attend tomorrow's "Morning Briefing" in Ambassador's Hospitality Suite will hear story after story of listeners and local programmers that represent that number.  Ron Cline of "Beyond the Call" and HCJB Global president Wayne Pederson are planning to share sensitive reports from activity in the Muslim world.

Going Beyond the Call in Haiti

Each day brings a new story from Haiti:  Orphans rescued and brought to the States, a seven-year old boy is pulled from the rubble after a week, a son rejoices after being reunited with his mom.

These stories of hope can only be made possible by someone stepping out in faith - someone who goes beyond the call.  Ron Cline shares stories of hope from Haiti and the HCJB Global Hands team each day on "Beyond the Call" (Friday, January 22nd through Friday, January 29th).

Christmas is the anniversary of our Savior's birth and of the first missionary radio station:  Radio Station HCJB.

Radio Station HCJB launched December 25, 1931The station's call letters, HCJB, were chosen by the founders to reflect its ultimate purpose of "Heralding Christ Jesus' Blessings." HCJB, "The Voice of the Andes," aired its first program from Quito, Ecuador, on Dec 25, 1931.

10 - The number of years Christian radio stations across the U.S. have partnered with HCJB Global to send fixed-tuned, solar-powered radios worldwide.
