I'm sure by now, you have heard about all the problems the Iceland volcano eruption has caused. The chaos and havoc may even have impacted your friends and family who are travelling! The Mercy Ships® team has also been impacted.

Sometimes, talking to my father on the phone can feel like an interview with a missionary agency! He has an unnerving ability to ask insightful and penetrating questions such as:
- "How is God the central focus of your life?"
- "How is your life bettering society for the sake of Christ?"
My call with him a few nights ago was no different! While stumbling over my answers, it was clear to me that I have a long way to go before I live a life that reflects Jesus in all my actions - to be salt and light in this dark world ...
