Making the Lenten Season More Meaningful

  • Monday, February 17, 2014

If you live anywhere in the country that's been hit hard with this winter weather, I'm sure you're ready for Spring and when we think of Spring, we can't help but look forward to the Easter celebration.

Over the next several weeks, kids will hear about chocolate bunnies, Easter eggs and new clothes, but will they hear about the resurrection?  This week on Revive Our Hearts, Barbara Rainey joins Nancy Leigh DeMoss to tell how to teach kids about the meaning of Easter.  Just as kids naturally look forward to big events like their birthday or ...

Finding Freedom Behind Bars

  • Monday, January 13, 2014

Right before Christmas, Nancy Leigh DeMoss had the opportunity to minister to 150 inmates in McPherson and Hawkins Women's Prisons in Arkansas.  This was a meaningful and powerful time as women poured out their hearts about what the teaching of Revive Our Hearts has meant to them-the books, the daily broadcasts, the DVDs (they have watched every session of every True Woman Conference, some more than once).

Join us in giving God thanks for how He has used this ministry behind prison doors, and pray that He would continue to use us to help those in both literal and ...

Finding Comfort through the Holidays . . . and Beyond

  • Monday, December 16, 2013

These days leading up to Christmas can be a time of emotional highs for many people. But as soon as New Year's has passed, it's easy to become blue and depressed.

On today's Revive Our Hearts program, Nancy Leigh DeMoss points us to the only place we can find true comfort and consolation-not from people, parties, and presents, but from the One born as a baby in the manger.

In this special series, "My Eyes Have Seen Your Salvation," Nancy explores the story of Simeon in Luke 2 and reminds us that in the midst of our ...

With Thanksgiving less than two weeks away, you may have started to make your grocery list, bake, or get your home ready for guests.  But have you thought about preparing your heart?

Nancy Leigh DeMoss is encouraging Revive Our Hearts listeners to cultivate a heart of gratitude with the updated 30-Day Choosing Gratitude Challenge.  This challenge will help you become intentional about thanking God and others for the blessings that come your way.

We also realize that we're entering a season when many become depressed over difficult circumstances.  On upcoming programs, Nancy will teach from the Word, providing practical ...

Help for Boy-Crazy Girls

  • Monday, October 14, 2013

While I wouldn't describe my 10-year-old daughter as "boy-crazy," I know many moms with daughters who are and they are seeking advice for how to combat it.  We tend to think that girls who grow up without a father figure are the boy-crazy ones, but I've seen this trait exhibited in girls who come from a variety of home situations.  So, what is the answer for raising young women who love God and are not dependent on boys for their happiness or security?

Our friend Paula Hendricks at Revive Our Hearts who serves as chief blogger for True ...

Revive '13: Women Helping Women

  • Monday, September 16, 2013

I have a real passion for helping women realize the peace, hope, and strength that's available to them in Christ.  While serving as a leader in women's ministry at my church, I found the experience to be one of the most rewarding yet challenging times in my faith journey.  When you see the impact that a godly woman can have in her marriage, family, church and community, it makes the investment worthwhile.

The ministry of Revive Our Hearts serves as a resource for women and in particular, those who serve the church as pastor's wives, Bible study ...
