A New Challenge From Revive Our Hearts

  • Wednesday, January 27, 2010

Nancy Leigh DeMoss presents a new challenge for listeners seeking to grow deeper in their faith this year.  She is encouraging her audience to develop the habit of Scripture memorization.

Listeners responded overwhelmingly to the recent programs on "The Joy of Memorizing Scripture" - here is what some shared . . .

What inspiration these programs are. I read through my Bible each year, lead a Bible study, but have not developed the habit of memorization of God's Word.  This habit is going to begin today. Thank you for this well timed set of programs.

I have been praying for direction concerning Scripture ...

Mary, a Spirit-Filled Woman

  • Thursday, December 24, 2009

Nancy Leigh DeMoss has a special Christmas message for you, When an angel visited Mary and told her she would carry God's Son, she responded, "How can this be?" God had chosen her for a task that was humanly impossible.

Do you ever feel that way? I know I often feel totally inadequate for the things God has called me to do. That's why I love the angel's response to Mary. He said, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you." (Luke 1:35).

Choose Gratitude

  • Wednesday, November 25, 2009

Nancy Leigh DeMoss says, "undeniable guilt plus undeserved grace should equal unbridled gratitude.  Is the gratitude that flows out of your life as abounding as the grace that has flowed into your life?"

Watch this special message from Nancy on-site at the ancient ruins of Colosse as she talks about Paul’s letter to Colossians and having a heart of gratitude.

A station manager's response upon hearing the highlights from last weekend's Revive Our Hearts Conference with Nancy Leigh DeMoss in Springfield, VA.  God met powerfully and personally with the almost 1,000 women who attended.

Here is what some of the women said after leaving the conference!

  • "I was getting extremely angry at you as you taught. I did wave the 'white flag,' but I didn't want to do it. I know I must surrender." -Rhoda
  • "I have filled my life with books and CDs ...

Worship or Whine?

  • Wednesday, September 30, 2009

An excerpt from Nancy Leigh DeMoss' latest book, Choosing Gratitude: Your Journey to Joy

I've come to believe that few things are more becoming in a child of God than a grateful spirit.  By the same token, there is probably nothing that makes a person more unattractive than the absence of a grateful spirit.

I have learned that in every circumstance that comes my way, I can choose to respond in one of two ways:

I can whine

-or-

I can worship!

And I can't worship without giving thanks.  It just isn't possible.

Gratitude is a lifestyle ...

Miss Havisham

  • Monday, August 31, 2009

In a recent "Seeking Him" feature, Nancy Leigh DeMoss shares this gripping tale . . .

There's a vivid picture of unforgiveness in Charles Dickens' novel, Great Expectations. He writes about Miss Havisham whose fiancé ran away on the day they were to be married.

For decades, Miss Havisham remained in her wedding dress and veil, letting them turn to rags. She pulled heavy drapes across the windows and refused any sunlight.  Instead of cleaning up her wedding cake, she let it decay and get eaten by mice.

She said, "The mice have gnawed at it, and sharper teeth than teeth of ...
