Did you know that April was National Child Abuse Prevention Month? What did you do to raise awareness and prevent child abuse?
Each day, over 500 radio stations champion the cause of children through Compassion International's short feature, Speak Up With Compassion® with Wess Stafford. Wess often shares with listeners that it can take just one person's voice to make a world of difference in the life of a child.
Yesterday during Ambassador's weekly staff devotion time, we paused to watch an incredible look at how one act can save a child -- a child of Compassion!

Each week the members in my church's small group go around the circle and share two things: One prayer and one praise report. No one is exempt from the "praise" category! You see, we decided that we needed that weekly reminder to think about where God showed up -- and to encourage each other with answered prayers. Now, it's not uncommon to hear someone's "praise" list overshadow the "prayer" list . . . and we leave expectant about how God will show up in the week ahead.
Next Thursday, many around the country will pause for the National Day of Prayer ...
