News & Insights

With 50 years of experience, we "get" that things are always changing! That's why we've dedicated a section of our website to provide the very latest information about the speakers and ministries we serve--and about us, too. Come take a look at "what's new"--or use the sidebar options to take a deeper look at areas of particular interest. In case you wonder what we think, we've dedicated a space for commentary (including guest posts). And take a look at who's been to Ambassador lately in our own version of the Greenroom!

When you were a youngster, what did you hope to "be" when you grew up?  That's the question we asked our friends in media and ministry.

Kimberley Barnes of KGLC/KVIS Radio said, "When I was growing up I wanted to be a wife and a mother; no big aspirations of being president or a rocket scientist.  I wanted to raise a family and take care of them like my precious Momma still does today!"

More thoughtful (and entertaining!) responses are published in our latest newsletter.

Focusing on PrayerWith the National Day of Prayer just around the corner, what better time to read a news summary on issues that matter today -- but through a prayer lens.  Focus on the Family's Jim Daly recently wrote a blog post called "Transgenderism in the News and Other Stories You Need to Know" -- it's a helpful guide of recent top headlines.  As we read in concern, let's do as Paul wrote in Romans 12:12 . . . How to Respond to the Baltimore Riots

Carter-Conlon-Baltimore-pray"In this nation, a concerted fight has been fought against the presence and knowledge of God.  I find it particularly sad because we once knew better.  We taught our children in our schools, in this previous generation, that there is no God, and now some of themas in Baltimoreare rioting in our streets."    — Carter Conlon

Reading the accounts of all that happened last night in Baltimore and what is continuing today caught my breath in my throat.  Have I clicked on some horrible movie ad? I wondered.  This surely can't be real.

But it is real.
