With 50 years of experience, we "get" that things are always changing! That's why we've dedicated a section of our website to provide the very latest information about the speakers and ministries we serve--and about us, too. Come take a look at "what's new"--or use the sidebar options to take a deeper look at areas of particular interest. In case you wonder what we think, we've dedicated a space for commentary (including guest posts). And take a look at who's been to Ambassador lately in our own version of the Greenroom!

Twin Comforts

  • Thursday, June 19, 2014

Six weeks ago, I became a grandfather for the third—and fourth—time.  My son and his wife brought their first children, two beautiful twin girls, into this world in April.  That’s the babies pictured at right.

After two weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, On Mother’s Day, Emmaline (the smaller one on top) came home. Such a wonderful gift for her mother!  (Actually, a gift for the entire family.)  But by the time Father’s Day rolled around, my son’s enthusiasm for all the newnesses of twin ...

Thanks in All Circumstances

Give thanksI had just finished reading I Thessalonians 5:18, "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus," and decided that I was really going to try and live this.

So you know of course what happened next... a day full of frustrating circumstances, and I have to say I wasn't very thankful for them!

Elizabeth George (A Woman after God's Own Heart) says that giving thanks in not only good but also in bad situations can be hard, but with God's help, it can be done. Through the grace ...

A Season of Purpose

Anne Graham LotzI'll admit it.  I'm one of those people who enjoys thumbing through home decorating magazine.  I lose myself in the glossy images of the picturesque homes, the exquisite furniture and gorgeous decorating.

The Example of His Father

Current day statistics about Father's Day:

- Father's Day is the fourth-largest card-sending occasion with 87 million cards given every year.

- Two top-selling categories are "Dad from Daughter" and "Dad From Both."

- Sonora Louise Smart Dodd of Spokane, Wash., is credited with starting Father's Day after hearing a sermon on Mother's Day. Dodd wanted to honor her father William Jackson Smart, a widower who raised six children on his own.

In this week's Father's Day edition of "Peace with God," Franklin Graham reflects on the example of his father, Billy Graham -- past, present and future ...

Nancy's Trip to the D.R.

If you follow Nancy Leigh DeMoss or Revive Our Hearts on Facebook, you may have seen the recent posts about Nancy’s trip to the Dominican Republic.  Nancy had a sweet time with the Aviva Nuestros Corazones team in the Dominican Republic.  In addition to a one-day retreat filled with sharing, singing, time in the Word, prayer, tears, laughter, and joy, she was also able to sit in on an ANC recording session at Radio Eternidad’s studio in Santo Domingo.

We are grateful for these partners who have helped bring the Spanish version of ROH to fruition and the ...
