How To "Share Life Today"

John SorensenI was blessed to be born into a Christian home and came to saving knowledge of Jesus Christ at a very young age.  Even though I went to public schools through high school, I can't recall a time when I had my faith seriously challenged.  But that all changed when I went to college.

In an upcoming "Living in the Light" radio program, Anne Graham Lotz asks "when night comes, either by death or rapture . . . five minutes before that takes place, what will you wish you had done differently in your life?"

She goes on to ask, "Will you wish you'd taught ...

Selah with Pastor Lee, holding UPDATE :-)

On June 20, 2011, an ordinary film student at the University of Southern California read an article in the LA Times.  It was titled, "South Korean pastor tends an unwanted flock."  When student Brian Ivie read the article, he couldn't set down the paper.  He read the piece five or six more times.  Immediately, he decided to create a documentary.

Fast-forward almost four years, and we now have The Drop Box. It's an astounding documentary film.  It's transparent.  It's factual.  And it's full of humility and obedience to God.  What Brian set out to do ...

Stepping Out in Faith

Walking out in faithWe know God wants us to step out in faith, but I have to admit my doubts often step in.  I wonder if I'm really hearing God correctly, and if this decision will turn out to be a wrong choice I'll regret.

I was reading Elizabeth George's "A Woman after God's Own Heart Devotional" and read a story about Rebekah.  Elizabeth writes, "When Rebekah was asked to travel to a faraway place to become the wife if Isaac, her words were, "I will go" (Genesis 24:58).  "I will go...with a stranger."  "I will go ...
