With 50 years of experience, we "get" that things are always changing! That's why we've dedicated a section of our website to provide the very latest information about the speakers and ministries we serve--and about us, too. Come take a look at "what's new"--or use the sidebar options to take a deeper look at areas of particular interest. In case you wonder what we think, we've dedicated a space for commentary (including guest posts). And take a look at who's been to Ambassador lately in our own version of the Greenroom!

DealsAs ministries and stations continue to optimize Facebook, the launch of "Facebook Deals" will be something you should know about. Potentially a rival to things like Groupon, as of today "Facebook Deals" are available in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, San Diego and San Francisco --If you're in one of these cities, you can start seeing how Facebook Deals work! (more cities will continue to be added soon no doubt).

Facebook is leveraging their 500 million users, allowing deals to be sent via email and appear in users' news feeds (people must opt in to this). An interesting note is that ...

King James Version HAVEN TodayThe King James Version of the Bible was written 400 years ago, and the world has never been the same.  We know King James Authorized it, but could Shakespeare have influenced the translation?  For those of you who don't like conspiracy theories you need read no further.

Do You "Accommodate" the Evolution Theory?

WorldAccording to John MacArthur there are many professing Christians that do.  But even more shocking to learn is the number of Christian colleges that accommodate the teaching of evolution!  That's troubling to know especially if you're a parent of a high school graduate.

John argues that ...

"Without a right understanding of origins there is no way to comprehend ourselves or understand our humanity ... If we cannot believe what Genesis says about origin we are lost as to our purpose and our destiny."

Young DonorsIf you think of the youngest as 16 and the oldest  as 31, you're in the millennial neighborhood.  As a group, they're identified as much by their use and familiarity with communications, media and digital technology as they are with their age.

You've read the surveys--and if you haven't--here's a recent, seemingly credible one from Archive, reporting on giving patterns of this emerging and highly sought after group of donors.

They're more likely to. . .

  • give in small increments (less than $150) to many organizations
  • give on-line
  • respond to a personal ask
  • give because of ...

FacebookYou've seen things like this before…it's the little envelope at the top of articles, blogs, etc. that lets you easily and quickly email the page to your friends. As of today, Facebook has launched a "Send" button. But this button, as you would have guessed, does more than the previous email icons you've seen.

The all new "Send" button will allow you to send the link to your friends via Facebook messages, post it to a Group, or even email it to an individual. This is just one more way that Social Media is going to ...
