With 50 years of experience, we "get" that things are always changing! That's why we've dedicated a section of our website to provide the very latest information about the speakers and ministries we serve--and about us, too. Come take a look at "what's new"--or use the sidebar options to take a deeper look at areas of particular interest. In case you wonder what we think, we've dedicated a space for commentary (including guest posts). And take a look at who's been to Ambassador lately in our own version of the Greenroom!

This recipe is so good I made it twice for the staff before offering the recipe here on the blog.  Well, the real reason is because someone claimed to have "lost the photo" taken the first time I made it.  :)  Lies or not, the truth is -- it's a recipe you'll find people will want you to make again and again!

What to Cut out of Scripture

I’m going to be real candid.  There are some passages in scripture I just don’t like.

It’s probably because they force me to be the person God wants me to be and not the person I have a tendency to be.

To be clear, I most certainly believe the Bible is inherent.  And I believe that everything in the Old and New Testaments is “inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped ...

MomentumEarlier this month, Katie Burke and I attended CMB's Momentum 2014 (Christian Music Broadcaster's convention) in Orlando--along with more than 500 music industry professionals (including radio stations, artists, agents, and ministries).

This annual conference at the Disney World Resort is an opportunity to engage with other industry professionals, be encouraged by the music and speakers, and leave equipped ready to return to our respective jobs and carry on the work the Lord has called us to do.

At a week-long conference there's always a lot to digest but thought I'd share here some of the more ...

Join us in Strengthening Stepfamilies

"Don't expect your new spouse to feel the same about your children as you do. It's a good fantasy, but stepparents won't care for your children to the same degree that you do. This is not to say that stepparents and stepchildren can't have close bonds; they can. But it won't be the same...Expect to have different opinions and to disagree on parenting decisions." (Ron Deal)

Many folks will think this is a harsh statement (I did when I first read it) ... and for many others, it just won't apply to their stepfamily ...
