With 50 years of experience, we "get" that things are always changing! That's why we've dedicated a section of our website to provide the very latest information about the speakers and ministries we serve--and about us, too. Come take a look at "what's new"--or use the sidebar options to take a deeper look at areas of particular interest. In case you wonder what we think, we've dedicated a space for commentary (including guest posts). And take a look at who's been to Ambassador lately in our own version of the Greenroom!

Remarkable Stories

Serving as FamilyLife's Weekend to Remember® promotions coordinator affords me the opportunity to witness God in the midst of broken and healthy marriages.  Some of the most remarkable stories though are hearing of couples on the brink of divorce who attend a getaway weekend and come away from the conference leaving divorce papers behind (literally!).

Last week I experienced firsthand another kind of remarkable story.  Ellen, who won a much-needed Weekend to Remember® registration, shared with me her struggles of being newly married following 10 years of single parenthood.  She admitted her greatest challenge was being a wife, a ...

March Update

Did you know March 14 is National Pi Day?  With some admittedly "poetic" license, this month we're asking, what is your favorite PIE . . . and who makes it best?  Submit your thoughts via the "Comments" below.  But before you do, see what your friends in ministry and broadcasting have to say!  (As featured in our March newsletter -- see it online!)

I read it one weekend in two sessions of three hours each.  I made notes, I prayed, I pondered and purposed to read it again.  The "weaving" that John MacArthur has accomplished so enlarges the narrative impact--far beyond what I would have imagined.  It is the single richest reading experience I've encountered in many years reading the scriptures.

The extensive study notes can ...

Introducing The SonSet Effect

The SonSet Effect

He walked two days to get to the radio station.  His life had changed and he wanted to tell the people who helped make it happen.  It's an incredible, true story about a village witchdoctor who went from practicing black arts to practicing Christianity -- all because of a solar-powered radio.

This is what HCJB Global calls The SonSet Effect.  With the help of local radio partners around the world, HCJB Global is illuminating the world through solar-powered SonSet radios. And you can help!  The ministry is looking for U.S. radio stations to partner in bringing The SonSet Effect ...
