Our team knows the ins and outs of what it takes to have a great time at NRB (and in Opryland!)...so here's a few tips we thought you might find useful!
1. Never leave the room without a compass and dry matches. You never know when you'll cross paths with Bear Grylls.
2. Even if you're lost, just keep walking and keep that "I know where I'm going" look on your face despite the reality otherwise.
3. Pack a lunch . . . just in case. A whistle, flare and tarp may come in handy.
4. Wear comfortable shoes. TOMs are amazing! And a child in poverty gets a pair when you buy yours.
5. Make appointments in advance to optimize your time.
6. Ask the bell staff for shortcuts in the hotel's back hallways . . . it'll save miles!
7. Have a portable GPS or Navigation System (the type that will tell you the nearest restaurants and gas stations preferred!)
8. A notepad and business cards are a must (that way, when you get lost and don't have a GPS, you can leave some breadcrumbs to help you get back!).
9. Have an itinerary with you for each day - including any meeting/appointment information, contact names & cell phone numbers.
10. Mints or Gum - you never quite know the damage those Cajun fries can make until it's too late!
