The NRB Convention has long been a highlight of the Ambassador year … and this year being no different—in fact, perhaps a best ever as we review the variety of speakers, connection opportunities, workshops and panels and great fellowship in the halls!  We no longer gather in “The Pit” (for old-timers who remember the Washington Sheraton years) but rather in so many options for private conversations or impromptu hymn-singing.

We look forward to seeing so many friends.  And, if we may … your prayers for the event will be appreciated as our own Jim Sanders serves as Chairman for the Executive Committee.  That team, alongside the tremendous NRB staff, have labored earnestly to ensure a week that is informative as well as inspirational.

So … let us know you’re coming!

Recognitions

While we are surrounded by faithful Kingdom workers, it’s a joy to recognize outstanding impact this year in these awards …

→ Don Stephens …. will be recognized with the Board of Directors Award. Founder of Mercy Ships (now operating two hospital ships throughout Africa), Don was also the voice of “The Mercy Minute” for more than 20 years. (The program now features a Mercy Ships alum, Raeanne Newquist.)

From the TV Committee, Focus on the Family receives the “Messaging Campaign of the Year” award for the “It’s a Baby” TV spot.
