Nancy Leigh DeMoss

Nancy grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in a family deeply committed to Christ and to world evangelization. As a young girl she surrendered her life to Christ and to serving His Kingdom.

Most people are surprised to know that Nancy is a most accomplished pianist. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in piano performance and later became the Primary Children's Ministries Director at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Since 1980, Nancy has served on the staff of Life Action Ministries based in Niles, Michigan. And until 2001 was the Director of Women's Ministries and editor of Spirit of Revival magazine.

A prolific writer, Nancy is an author whose books have sold over one million copies. Included in the list of her many published works is, among others, A Place of Quiet Rest, the co-authored Seeking Him interactive Bible study on revival,  Choosing Forgiveness, and her most recent book, Lies Young Women Believe, co-authored with Dannah Gresh.

Nancy is heard daily on more than 1200 radio outlets across the country on her half-hour program, "Revive Our Hearts," as well as her 1:00 feature, "Seeking Him."

Nancy is a much sought after speaker throughout North America as well in other countries as she articulates her passion and calling by God to challenge women and men to both personal and corporate revival. Since 2008, the ministry has hosted several True Woman Conferences where almost 20,000 women have attended, launching a movement back to biblical womanhood. More events are planned for the future.

The ministry receives thousands of calls, letters and e-mails from listeners whose lives have been impacted and changed-women who embrace God's purpose and plan for their lives as a result of the message of Revive Our Hearts, compellingly and passionately taught each day by Nancy.

Nancy says, "It is our desire to take the listener deeper into God's Word, to reach people with the life-changing message of revival and biblical womanhood."
