Elizabeth GeorgeWhen you meet Elizabeth George, you're immediately engulfed in the personality of a woman who reaches out and says, "I see you and I hear you."

Married to Jim George for 40 years now, the two share the distinction of being widely sought authors, teachers and speakers. And you won't be around her too long before you hear about her two daughters, their husbands and her six grandchildren.

Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Oklahoma and has taught in both public and private schools. A featured keynote speaker at women's events, she also appears regularly on network television and radio programs.

For more than 20 years, Elizabeth taught-and developed-Bible curriculum for the Every Woman's Grace ministry at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California where John MacArthur serves as pastor. Her Bible teaching and training also includes teaching the wives of seminary students at both Talbot Theological Seminary (Biola University) and The Master's Seminary where her husband Jim taught. The George's now live in Belfair, Washington.

A prolific author, there's rarely a Christian best-selling list where Elizabeth George isn't named among the top ten. For the past several years, her book, A Woman After God's Own Heart, has been honored with "Premier 100" status from The Christian Booksellers Association as one of the top 100 best-selling books. This book along with A Woman's High Calling has been ranked in the top-ten and top-twenty bestseller's list for the past year.

Other books include Life Management for Busy Women, Loving God With All Your Mind, and A Woman's Walk With God. Elizabeth has also written for young adults including the best-selling, A Young Woman After God's Own Heart and the popular series for younger children, God's Wisdom for Little Boys and God's Wisdom for Little Girls.

Elizabeth's inspirational messages are heard daily on more than 500 outlets via her one-minute feature and her seasonal radio specials.
