Tidbits for April 12

We realize you have limitless avenues for finding the “fodder” that can help make your on-air personalities sound fascinating, relevant and substantive. But we’d love to help make that happen by adding a few “tidbits” to the mix. The stuff you’ll find here is mostly about the ministries we serve (events, birthdays, milestones)—but definitely not limited to that. On This Date...

In 2002: An armed robber held up a shopkeeper in Amsterdam and told the victim he'd wait for the police in a nearby park. A half hour later, the robber got tired of waiting and walked to the police station and gave himself up. He had to show his gun before police believed him. Police said the 38-year-old robber was homeless and wanted to be arrested so he had somewhere warm and dry to sleep.
